I am 23, my sister is 7. My sister will NOT refer to me as my chosen name and insists that I am my deadname and my mom will just insist its a her problem and that shes stubborn, that she doesnt have to, etc. I have no idea how to handle this as I love my sister but she seems genuinely upset that I am a boy and have a new boys name even though she draws me with a beard and mustache ?? She even went as far as to name one of her babydolls my deadname and everythings just.... been super frustrating.
How would you/can I deal with this in the gentlest way as I dont want to lose contact with my siblings.

From what I’ve seen trannies face significantly more hardship in countries with socialized healthcare.

I'm not saying they face no hardship, what I'm saying is it's still easier to get a mastectomy as a tranny in the UK than it is to get a breast reduction as a female with tits that are large enough to give you back problems.

Obviously the surgery is more gatekept in those countries than it is in ones where private medical insurance is the norm, but they're still massively enjoying access to care that puts them in an objectively privileged position. I use to be a lot more femme, long hair no facial hair. Strictly feminine clothing. I cut my hair short recently and let my beard grow in a little. I pass as a cis man in a lot of spaces now. Still dress in both men's and women's clothes. But since altering my appearance the vibe has shifted dramatically.

Start with the positives, gay men have become extremely sweet to me. Going out of their way to show me positivity. Good on you gay men. But everyone else has sorta turned heel. Strangers both men and women have been yelling abuses out their car windows at me. Some random guy approached me out of nowhere and threatened me last night. Cis women I knew before who were pleasant and kind have become colder.

The weird part is, even other trans/queer people have gone from telling me "wow you look so pretty transition goals". To mostly avoiding me. 1 word responses, and disengaging. Acting like they're mad at me for doing something immoral. My personality hasn't changed. I'm still friendly and gentle, trying to put as much positivity into the world as possible.

Idk what the deal is, its just a little change in style. But it feels like the world has become a less friendly more dangerous place. Has anyone else been through something like this? Or have the last couple months just been bad luck?

So as an amab enby my experience is the exact opposite, the moment I put on boobs I get absorbed easily into friend circles and am far more trusted without doing anything differently. Strangers walk up and talk to me all the time and many are overly touchy.

We’re already seeing the tras trying to change the narrative around detransitioning (basically went from “this never happens” and trying to bully detransitioners into silence to having a more “nuanced” position about it that’s more like “detransitioning isn’t so bad after all”). Seems to me it’s because they can see that with all the college kids getting surgeries and diy hormones that sooner than later something is going to give. They’re trying to get ahead of it. (“Detransitioning happens but it’s not bad! Definitely doesn’t mean we should view transitioning with greater scrutiny!”)

I've always thought it makes complete sense that NPD could be the root of AGP. As Anne Lawrence wrote in 'Men Trapped in Men's bodies,' AGP is a sexuality of its own and that sexuality isn't pointed at Men or women, it's pointed at themselves. The only person they experience true romantic love with is themselves as a woman.
