Oh don't worry, the comment section of that reddit thread is using the same tiresome arguments such as this comment. "Here's the thing about "defining" woman - it's almost impossible to do it without either including trans women or excluding some cis women."Has the capacity to give birth" - excludes infertile/menopausal women. "Has a uterus" - excludes women who have had hysterectomies. "Doesn't have a penis" - so a trans woman who has a vaginoplasty counts? What about a man who had a penectomy in an accident or something? Does he become a woman? What about intersex people? Etc etc" Seriously, these arguments are so dumb.
How can you be defined as infertile or menopausal if you don't belong to a category that has the CAPACITY (That's the keyword)of giving birth in the first place? How can you have a hysterectomy if you never had a uterus to begin with?
How are these arguments so widespread??? It feels like speaking a different language/logic.
