For girls, maybe emphasizing that it's possible to do and enjoy traditionally masculine things while still being feminine would help. Normalizing liking video games, sports, STEM, outdoors stuff, etc. while still liking and wanting kids, being interested in beauty and dating, wanting to get married someday, and so forth. Show them that it's not an either/or thing.

Except that's not where it comes from. MTFs are drawn from the incel demographic, looking for a way to exempt themselves from rules and consequences. FTMs are drawn from the arthoe demographic, looking for a way to make their parents sad. They aren't (usually) tomboys looking to play sports and go fishing, girls with those hobbies are pretty alright.

Of course, I'm being a bit glib, and there are some innocents getting caught up in this, but MTFs are almost all very stereotypical males, and FTMs are almost all very stereotypical women. What would help:

MTFs:

• For a lot of them, it's a power thing. Ban them from practicing their fetish in public and from forcing it on random retail workers who just want to go home.
• For others, it's a sex thing. A lot of fucked-up shit is deliberately pushed by the (((people))) running porn sites. I'm not daft enough to think you can outlaw porn, but mandating that the recommendations feed consist entirely of vanilla missionary sex between straight couples would do a lot to impede the novelty spirals many troons describe.
• Of course, the core of it is a bunch of young men with no romantic prospects turning into weird degenerates because they've never kissed a girl. Terminate the girlboss affirmative action stuff that runs through grade school, college, and the job market, and the pipeline of young men with dead-end lives will be cut off at the source. Kill the H1-B visa while you're at it.

FTMs:

• It's usually a social contagion, so de-normalizing troonery and making it a crime to groom children into it would kill the problem at the source. Russia-style "homosexual propaganda" laws.
• Like everything that ruins the lives of young attractive women, it is primarily pushed by fat middle-aged women with no kids. Raising awareness about this, publicly shaming the slags directing 'trans advocacy' orgs, would damage its social repute.
• Because women tend to be social conformists, making it clear that it isn't in vogue, and is likely to mutilate you in ways that will permanently reduce your social status after the trend dies, is a good angle. Just pointing out that the troon thing, and LGBTQ in general, are on their way out will do some good.

Both:

• Provide a dose of reality as to the outcome. Make kids watch weird neckbeards try to pass as women, and dead-eyed anorexic women try to pass as men. Juxtapose this with their social media feeds, where they claim to be IRL anime girls that are constantly getting hit on. Make it clear that they all turn out like this, and that "transitioning gender" is impossible.

I had a similar rant against 'I think the people at work are trying to clock me'. Honey, no. Being clocked is an instant in time. If somebody suspects you're not the sex you are pretending to be, the clocking has happened: it is a perfected verb. They're not clocking you, they're gathering evidence.
