I know it’s kind of a shitty reason, but when John Dunsworth died, I realized that we never had a thread to discuss TPB. So I thought I should make one.

Seasons 1-7 are classics, and I could watch them a million times and still be entertained. The Netflix seasons range from alright to downright crap.
 
With you there, I thought the spirit of the show was kinda gone after season 7, but seasons 1 - 7 will always have a fond place in my heart for me. Definitely one of my favourite comedies. The Christmas special is also hilarious and has some of my favrourite drunk Lahey moments.

 
I've never actually seen it. But I heard Sebastian Bach was in some episodes and I never get tired of his obnoxious ass. I might watch Gilmore Girls for him too. Although I never liked the show. My cousin was obsessed with the milf and never shut up about it. But I couldn't get into it.
 
I'm rewatching the series for the first time since the last live action season aired.

I'm on the the Netflix era season that has the infinitely loathable bulldyke deathfat Candy character.

I thought to myself that it's been long enough (6 or seven years I think) that this landwhale is probably dead by now.

So I decided to search "Candy actress trailer park boys death".

And lo and behold, she's actually fucking dead.

To me the show ended with season 6. I enjoyed season 7, but 6's finale has a happy ending for everyone, even Sam Losco, so I conider it to be my cut-off point. Didn't care for the Netflix seasons, though I did like the animated series and the Jail season.

Favorite episode is The Bible Pimp from season 2. No matter how many times I re-watch it it cracks me up. Just about every moment from that episode is gold.

I am watching this for the first time. Seasons one and two were kind of rough but worth watching, three and four are fucking hilarious. I don't think I've laughed this hard at anything on TV for some time.
 
Have any of you watched Letterkenny? It's another canadian show and it's pretty decent, some really funny bits mixed with some bad ideas here and there.
jesus christ they're on the 12th season now and the show started in 2016...

Jail and the Netflix seasons weren't brilliant but I tuned in, and teres still Jail S2 and a new TPB movie in the works but man, Mike (Bubbles) can't stop finding novel ways to shit on the franchise, can he? Nobody wants this and the money could have gone to other TPB projects. Why is Billy Bob Thornton above the other two boys in the credits...? Alright it's a Bubbles film, and I know about union rules with billinga but still...

SwearNet was a mistake. Most of it has sadly been crap since The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Funtime Hour.

It doesn't help they're terrible at fan outreach aswell. Basically silence for a year and then a fan spots this in the wild.

I still think of [digitaldistractions] when I think TPB

Yeah probably. Maybe it'll open with them around a campfire reminiscing to set the scene for Bubbles back story or whatever.

I don't hate Bubbles as much as some but it really is the Bubbles show since he started writing.
