Link and archive to the blog. I got excited at the prospect of staff riots, but it was just typical mismanagement. Seems like Touhoufest 26 was the worst managed one yet.

Insane how the biggest improvement about touhoufest this year is that thankfully no one seems to have gotten molested (unless there was secertly Avilion using his pink-pilled retard techniques to go undercover and sneak behind Sumireko cosplayers), management and organizers still remain shit as always, but I dont think that will change anytime soon with the chokehold they have on almost the entire concept of western touhou conventions as a whole

After like a decade of working on this project to spite a guy who saw as a lazy, low effort asshole, he only ever completed his work on 1 out of 5 games: Touhou 1 Highly Responsive to Prayers.

I am sorry, I may not know how decompiling games works, but if after an entire decade and 4k+ bucks in donations the only game you manage to complete is a breakout clone from 1996 who sold probably less than 100 copies worldwide, I AM gonna start to put into doubt what the fuck you are actually doing

Also, he doesn't even seem to be angry at certain specific Touhou Pc-98 vibe coders, he just seems to get mad at the entire concept of vibe-coding in general and decided to afflict his own project for no reason besides out of spite for the "unfair" treatment from the world, its like an artist deciding to quit posting art and getting mad about their *own* choice because ai art is now a thing even when it doesnt affect them and gets shitted upon regardless rightfully; I don't think any vibe coders out there hiring hitmans to assassinate this guy to make him stop decompiling Pc-98 games of all things, just say you don't want to work on the project no more (ok, he may refrain from admitting that because he raised a shit ton of money, but still)


If he calls ZUN lazy, I really would like to see his hands at actually making a completed and shipped game, he is gonna be soooo surprised when he realizes there are actual time-sinking layers to game-devving even basic stuff
