Null mentioned something on MatI about a documentary/video on advertisers called "Impressions" or something, but that's a fucking impossible name to search. I want to watch it, but can't find it. Anyone know where it is located?

Reminder, if you make a video make sure to give it a name that is not only catchy but unique.

It should be treated like bands treat shit. So you use your sort of brand name, or channel or however you identify your output, then the title. So "KiwiFarms: TrannySperg" kinda like that.

Strange how the profit driven and brand obsessed internet doesn't seem to do basic shit like that.

A while back Null recommended using AdNauseam: It's uBlock Origin that clicks all ads to obfuscate your profile and harm the ad networks with artificial clicks. I alone caused an estimate of 5k in damages (it shows in the extension).

If this utility was automated, it would be able to cause hundreds of thousands of dollars of damages. This is probably why Youtube now has the "sign in to confirm you aren't a bot" thing popping up.

Just saw this. It's 8 months old. But just another thing to add to my hatred of advertisements.

For me. Yes ads are annoying, but it's the data selling, spying, intrusiveness into every part of our lives thing that really makes me hate them.

If they were just an annoying thing without the other drawbacks I wouldn't care as much.
