People are willing to tolerate a truly shocking amount of weirdness if you don't act like a complete piece of shit.

Hell, if you need an example, just think back to the original Tommy thread before he went completely bonkers. People tolerated and even enjoyed his weird old homeless man like shenanigans. But once he started getting shitty at everyone, things only went downhill.

I've been threatened by cows as "credible" as you with the FBI and they never show up even though I live less then 5 miles from their local office. Not true. However, they have a transferable nonexclusive license to use it so long as it remains there. It's in the TOS, which explicitly states that you retain your copyright in content you create.

tl;dr you retain your copyright to what you post on FB, but they can use it and third parties with apps there can use it if you let them, and that license expires when you remove the content yourself, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can then go and sue people who already used it or who innocently use it because they're relying on this TOS language.
