Tom said something about how the people 'selling' him the land need some capital to pay off mortgages which doesn't make any sense to me. Are they just going to give up the land they own for free?

Oh, I know. Hence why I said "intense desert climate." I've camped in the desert and while it's beautiful that shit is cold at night, even in the dead of summer. The cold impacts the elderly far more than it does younger people.
In the meantime, Tom doesn't have anyone he can room with. He claims he has all these friends and followers, but no one's offering him a place to stay until he moves onsite to his

He's going to pay off their mortgage and put a shed on the property as "rent" for the next one or two years. He plans on splitting his time between there and the other "land projects" he's provided with money, until he eventually buys a property which is suitable for the hippie retirement community vision.
Oh, and he wants silver and copper futures to be a significant amount of his portfolio.

Any land for $30k is worthless because no one gives a good piece of land for cheap. This guy doesn't understand money at all. Hippies also don't own shit. Anytime they did they had it taken from them because they used it to commit crimes.
Copper by the way is only worth investing in if a country get's the Olympics and doesn't have a location for it. Such as when China got and in 2007 people were going to construction sites to steel copper to sell to the Chinese. Don't believe me Thomas, it's gone up a whole 0.3% in the LME. Silver has gone up by a whole 0.04%. Anyone smart with their money invest in companies or gold. Why gold? It's one of the things that wont crash.
