I got new glasses today and I'm trying to get used to wearing them now. Everything looks so weird, I haven't worn glasses regularly in a long time and I'm kinda walking around like I'm drunk cos I'm used to having to compensate for my awful astigmatism and far-sightedness.
 
Learned some more songs on guitar, got some free strings off my friend (going down from .13 to .10 is like taking your fingers out of a tightly wound vice grip.) Then I went home again and got back into jogging. Pretty good day.
 
I admin some Facebook groups for work. Yesterday, I was given another group to admin and my first act was to block a member who has a history of harassing other members and myself. Today, I received screenshots of this member sperging and frothing at the mouth cursing my name and character. And that was the edited version. Later in the day, I also saw a (deleted) post where he said I was going to get slapped.

However, his chimp out seems to have backfired since perfect strangers have become aware of the situation and have expressed support. Other people who dealt with him sent me (new) screenshots of his spazzing at then. One guy even tweeted the client with the screenshots to let them know that they were represented by this loose cannon.

I was asked by the lead admin if I'd consider a probationary membership for Chimpy McSperg. I responded with a novel's worth of screenshots. So...today was much less boring than I'd expected.
 
I've been laying out for about an hour each day. Since I haven't been in the gym for a year and a half, and I'm down about 25lbs, I'm trying to mitigate my looking like shit by being less pale. :sighduck:
 
found out that my boss is trying to find someone to replace me and i couldn't be any more happy
 
Lost our store marks on our stock audit. It's my fault for coming in after barely sleeping and eating, but I still feel bad for fucking up.
 
I bought a new Ever After High doll (powerlevel - yes, I am a doll collector. I very rarely buy dolls when they first get released and instead usually buy them on clearance because I have better stuff to spend money on) which actually looked pretty. When I got home I realised the clothing on the doll was ripped. The item was factory sealed and I am debating returning the doll as it looks easy enough to fix.

Update: I had to return those glasses.

Not only were the frames too small, which I was afraid of, but the lenses hadn't been ground properly or something and my vision was badly distorted. I knew something was up when I looked at my phone, because it looked like a trapezoid.

They didn't give me too much shit over returning the glasses, but the girl I spoke to said, when I told her about the distortion, that it was because I'd gotten plastic lenses. Now, if someone had bothered to tell me that might happen, I'd have sprung for the polycarbonate lenses, but nobody said a word. And the first thing out of her mouth when I said my frames didn't fit was "let's find another pair", despite me having just said that those were the only frames that even remotely fit me. So I just got my money back, got my prescription, and left.

I've ordered some more glasses (with the good lenses this time) and hopefully it won't take more than a week or so to get them. I can't wait to see properly again.
 
Today I only had one class at college and after school I helped my dad deliver some food over my aunt's house and she gave us a cake.
 
Today, I finished off a bottle of conditioner. It was good conditioner, but I like the next bottle I'm going to use better.
 
There was a loud catfight outside my home.

One cat ran afoul of another's territory or something. They scattered when I got close to see what was going on.
 
Today I had burger king before work and when I got home I Skyped with my friend and she showed me all her pets. Afterwards I just played some splatoon and watched a bad movie with my mom .
It was a nice day
 
My family and I went out for pizza today, came to the realization anchovies are probably my favorite topping right now.
 
I've felt awful all day and now I have a 12 hour solo night shift at work. Luckily I have codeine to make me feel human, a computer to type to you lot, CCTV to stare at and a phone to watch fuckin' Return to Oz of all things on.
 
I was going to apply at the local ice cream place yesterday, but it was pouring rain and I didn't want to ask for an application while soaking wet. Figured I'd swing by today, but the job got filled overnight.
Tried making up for it by waking around town and picking up applications though.
 
Today I had learned that Yim Wing Chun wasn't a historical figure, which has mildly bummed me out.
On a brighter note I've bought a bag of potatoes that smell like a moldy basement and (assumedly) mice, and my cats are all over it, rolling them around and waiting for the little squeakers to magically appear from between the smelly 'taters. Thankfully it only took one thorough washing to get the 'taters rid of the weird smell, and otherwise they were fine. I've made the best loaded potato of my life and there's plenty of unused spuds left for my cats to fool around with.
