Today I received my Cambridge English exam scores, and I passed! It wasn't the most difficult test (it was First Certificate in English, probably something between middle and high school levels. Would be interesting to see how well I would do in higher level exams). The Speaking and Listening parts kinda screwed me over, as I am a bit deaf and have troubles expressing myself verbally, and would have prolly received a better grade if it wasn't for them, but oh well. Happens. One thing I wasn't expecting was the Writing part, didn't expect to be the highest grade of all parts.
 
I went to the theatre yesterday, to see a Shakespeare adaptation that somehow managed to condense Henry V, Henry VI and Richard III in a little under five hours.
It had excellent scenography and good acting, but it often felt like the director was doing a history lesson and forgot he was staging a play. I prefer my theatre to be less straightforward and more self-aware.
 
Today I:
-got some cool art in the mail from a friend
-worked on school assignments all morning/afternoon
-started panicking because of said assignments as I still hadn't finished them by the time I had to leave for class
-almost threw up
-but didn't
-felt better then went to classes for 5 hours
-exhausted
-I should go to sleep
-good night
 
Went thug on SweeTarts, which in a way basically breaks my soda fast I guess. If so, I did make it eight days and will still limit how much of that I go to town on.
 
Stayed up late and about to write this 3 page paper that's due by midnight and this other one for my sociology class.
 
Today I took a bath. Not a shower but a bath in an actual bathtub and it felt so goddamn good and I probably could have stayed in there all day. I've only showered for pretty much my whole life because my house has no bathtubs but my dorm does.

Mini road trips are awesome. I went on one to Milwaukee one time for a conference and I ended up getting lost on the way home. Downside was I spend hundreds more than I planned. Upside was all the sausage and cheese I got in Wisconsin.
 
Today my parents announced that our family is going on a cruise. T-minus 8 days...
 
I ate fast food for the first time in about a year, and the fries were so salty they burnt my tongue and I can't taste anything now. I have no idea how I used to eat this stuff all the time when I was younger.

It was all about the toys back then, let's be real here.

If you let your tastebuds lie fallow by avoiding strong tasting foods, it becomes more sensitive. Water gained a more potent taste during my soda fast for instance.

Reuploaded evidence of Adamu being dumb and also managed to solve my issues with school partially.
