TMBG aka They might be giants is a band I have been a big fan of for years now!! So this thread is for other fans like me and people who generally enjoy their music.
A band mainly made up of a highly talented duo who primarily make silly joke songs while occasionally releasing some jaw dropping incredible songs, and are highly associated with a 2000s TV show.
TMBG is pg ween.
Bassist Danny Weinkauf is complicit in the indoctrination and mutilation of self-hating, weak-minded people.
But I digress. TMBG is an amazing duo/band. Apollo 18 from 1992 is probably their most solid album. It came out after the Johns had fully developed their sound but right before the backing band came along to bloat everything.
I like them a lot but would never admit it in public. Total faggot fanbase. That being said "Mr. Me" is an absolutely perfect song. "Where your eyes don't Go" Is up there too.

Lincoln is one of my favorite, too. Their first is great. I've thought they've been kind of hit or miss since, although their collaborations with others (like Homsar) have been great. Fuck Nick Bate for liking them too.
"They'll Need a Crane" is one of their songs where they take a break from being goofy and surreal to actually hitting you in the feels.
