Business Tinder unveils staggering $500-per-month ‘VIP’ subscription tier - imagine the trashfire asks you to pay them for a seat to it.....

Tinder has unveiled a $500-per-month exclusive subscription service to the dating app’s most active users who will have access to features including “VIP” search, matching, and conversation.

Tinder Select, which was initially launched in 2017 as a free-of-charge, invite-only tier geared toward “hotties and celebrities,” will now cost $6,000 a year for its services, according to Bloomberg News.

The new pay-for-play tier was offered to less than 1% of Tinder users, according to the company.

The Tinder Select subscription is one of four paid tiers that the app offers with prices beginning as low as $24.99 a month.

We know that there is a subset of highly engaged and active users who prioritize more effective and efficient ways to find connections, and so we engaged in extensive tests and feedback with this audience over the past several months to develop a completely new offering,” Tinder Chief Product Officer Mark Van Ryswyk said.

The Post has sought comment from Tinder.

In July of last year, Tinder’s parent company, Match Group, acquired The League, an exclusive dating app “with a curated member base focused on matching career-oriented users looking for a serious relationship,” in a deal valued around $30 million.

The success of The League, which offers a VIP plan that charges $1,000 per week, reportedly inspired Match Group to roll out a new, exclusive tier for “high-intent users” of Tinder.

Raya, another app that caters toward celebrities and high-profile bachelors, offers several plans that charge anywhere between $10 per month to $350 per year.

Gary Swidler, the president of Match Group, whose portfolio also includes the dating app Hinge as well as sites like OKCupid and Match.com, told a business gathering earlier this month that Tinder Select is expected to draw “a relatively tiny amount of new payers.”

Nonetheless, the company anticipates it will bolster revenue, which has slowed in recent months.

Match Group said that the number of subscribers to its dating apps have fallen in each of the last three quarters, though average revenue per user has grown on a year-over-year basis, according to Bloomberg News.

side note I have gotten my ex husband from OKcupid and my curent partner and my fathers child from bumble literally every signle interaction with tinder was horrible .

Seems like a pretty stupid idea considering anyone willing to pay that kind of money would be better off using a more tailored service geared specifically toward them

Speaking as a billionaire supermodel professional athlete, it's very difficult to find women that aren't just trying to date me for my looks, my wealth, or my high-quality sperm. I'm glad that Match Group is introducing this option so that I can finally pay for a woman to understand my deep inner life in a way previously only possible through talking to them.

At that price screw 3rd world sex tourism, even flying to Japan for a Soapland would be more economic than burning money on this.

offers with prices beginning as low as $24.99 a month.
remember when it used to be free?

Imagine paying for a service that uses AI to match you with uggos, hides your likes so that you have to pay, only to use Ai again to make sure you never find the person you will be happy with, only happy enough to fuck and return to the platform.

I assume the paid services are used to connect prostitutes with clients. There were a bunch on the free tier, but the paid tier offers girls several benefits:
  1. Some degree of identity verification (there's a real person with a credit card on the other side of the account, and there's some kind of face-matching algorithm)
  2. The man has money and is willing to spend it
  3. Plausible deniability -- you met your date on Tinder and hit it off, and there are records on both phones
Incidentally, Hunter Biden used Raya. He also had an assistant to set him up with prostitutes, euphemistically referred to as "models."

This is just going to prey on losers like Greer who think if they pay enough a woman will love them and give them all the pussy
His next lolsuit will be him taking Match to court because they refuse to give him a free account to accommodate his disability (face).

Just makes me think of that sex club Bill Maher goes to that costs like $10k a year or whatever.

There seems to be some kind of demand for this stuff to filter out poor people, which I respect.

If you read it apparently this is a niche that they already fucked with, some shit for celebrities and "influencers" along with the very rich. At a guess I would say that the free invites for women would have been based on algorithm, top 1% for likes etc.

The ONLY thing that matters for men on these platforms is profile visibility, which Tinder milks money for with "boosts". The entire pay to play is opaque and it seems to be far less functional than it was 5-6 years ago. 5 years ago, using a "boost" was virtually guaranteed to get you several matches as long as you sat there and swiped on everything. Playing around with it the past 2 years though, boosts are no longer even guaranteed to get you ANY matches. Actually the best profile boost on Tinder currently is the "new user" location one - new profiles or profiles that move to new location get more visibility. That's free and you can't really buy it anyway.

These companies really shit the bed on giving their pay-to-play users any tangible benefits. There are useful functions sometimes, like forced messaging (you can send a message with your 'super like', no match required) and seeing your likes (so you can auto-match) but not only are they limited, they take a backseat to profile visibility. I would totally pay $50/month if my profile would get algo boosted so that it collected likes and matches and I could play the numbers game. That doesn't happen though. It actually seems like the opposite. Once you pay for the subscription, likes and matches dry up, making it completely useless.

Either the companies don't know what they're doing or they've tapped into the desperation market, the same one that fuels the new sexless attention economy. Only in America are there men pathetic enough to regularly pay some dumb bitch $300 to take HER to dinner and hold her hand. I'm not making this up. I had the opportunity to ask some of these girls about it. Sex isn't even necessarily on offer, which is so ridiculous that it made my head explode.
