Hey guys, a moderator told me to thumbnail my images from now on. Problem is, I'm a fucking retard and don't know how to do that. Can any of you guys give me a quick how-to?

If you're copy-pasting images in, they are as big as intended by default, which is usually bad. You immediately backspace and delete it, but the attachment ought to still show under the field in which you type. Click 'Insert' and choose the thumbnail option instead of full size.
Posting images should almost always be a two-step process, unless they're small to begin with.
