Disaster Three film students in Mexico murdered - And their bodies were probably dissolved in acid

Authorities in the western Mexico state of Jalisco say they believe three film students missing since last month were killed and dissolved in acid. The criminals apparently believed they were part of a rival gang.

The Jalisco Attorney General's Office says two men have been arrested and there are arrest orders for four others in the case.

Javier Solomon Aceves Gastelum, 25, Marco Garcia Francisco Avalos, 20, and Jesus Daniel Diaz, 20, were abducted March 19 on the outskirts of Guadalajara after working on a film project for school at a location that was apparently being watched by members of the Jalisco New Generation cartel.


Authorities said at a news conference Monday that the students were taken to another location where one was beaten to death. Then the other two were killed.

Prosecutors say the bodies were taken to a third location, where investigators believe they were dissolved in sulfuric acid.

The gang believed the three men were part of their rival cartel, Nueva Plaza, authorities said. The home where the three students had been filming belonged to one of their aunts and was used as a “safe house” for Nueva Plaza; it was under surveillance by Cartel Jalisco New Generation, prosecutors said.

Authorities said the students had no connection to any criminal gang.

So a gang thought these three kids were part of a rival gang, and decided to kill them and put them into sulfuric acid. Feels bad man.

Well, it used to be that way at one time. I know my family won't go there any more. We just wave at our cousins across the border and wish them luck.

Tourism is one of their larger incomes for the nation, they have god damn literal fortresses to protect from the cartels. And that's not enough.

Last time I was there I bullshitted with a guard he had a fully automatic FN FAL and a vest on, he was a private guard just to make sure my drunk ass can sit on the beach in peace. This resort was with in 30 miles of the one that got hit the other week, and they had the same company guarding. Cartels are that bloodthirsty and agressive. Said resort use to bus people into the local town to buy trinkets and get food they won't do that anymore.

It has to cripple that tiny town as leaving a 1 dollar usd tip for a 50 cent taco was these people's life blood. The wall would seriously hurt the cartels too, Mexico has it's head too far up it's ass to see this (that and being in gov there and not a cartel puppet is dangerous AF).

Most drugs are smuggled through the ports of entry. A wall wont stop them and probably wont even put a dent in it. Ironically shutting down NAFTA would probably help the most but Trump actually wants to keep that.
