I really hope that it's not just a straight remake of the game and has added content like larger maps, more missions and just greater variety of gameplay overall. Maybe even a stealth element? The first game felt a little bare bones back when I played it as a teenager despite how much I enjoyed it. Killing people for their grey matter got old after the first hour, honestly.

One of the screenshots shows a new dash ability, and the description mentions a restored Area 42 mission cut from the original. Personally, I hope they also expand the areas a bit since they were rather small in the original, and add other new missions and side content.

Well we are getting a Battle for Bikini Bottom remake. Honestly I usually hate remakes, but I'm really liking some of these vidya remakes as of late like the Crash and Spyro ones, and now this. They stay faithful to the originals and add more goodies instead of worsening what came before.
