Thoughts on misogyny/sexism?

I wanna clear things up by saying I'm all for equal rights and stuff and think that the lolcow incel type sexism is cringey. That being said, I can't help but believe that there are some fundamental differences between men and women that extends beyond biology. Whenever I hear a guy say that he doesn't have a sexist bone in his body, I feel like he's either lying or just in denial. This is an opinion stemming mainly from personal experience (And no, it's not because I got rejected. I can see that reddit tier response coming from a mile away, lay off the cliché rebuttals)

I don't see a contradiction here. Men and women are different and also giving men legal rights over women is dumb. Men are naturally competitive, with each other; giving men legal ownership of women is retarded because women can no longer do their job of sexual selection of the best men.

I love women. Men who hate women are fucked up in the head and have issues. But men and women are different and it makes sense for them to have different roles in society. It doesn't require retarded hard laws like in Shariah though, at least for White people. Some women defy traditional gender roles and it's not a huge deal.

This really depends on what you mean by sexism. Do you mean being realistic about certain obvious differences? Current political thought has really poisoned the well on what counts as sexism, the same as it has for any other -ism. Most of what people consider sexism is just not understanding experiences of the opposite sex. This used to be seen as quite benevolent (because it usually is) and riffed on, not discounted. Attempts to scrub over the fact there are differences and we'll never quite understand each other as "totes the same just socialization" has just made things worse IMO.

There are legit sexists (going both ways) but it's on an individual level. It manifests as personal problems and serious hang ups that fuck their own life over typically. And it isn't something people generally need to worry about as a societal problem except for things like not taking female pedos seriously.

Men and women are equally separate. That's why we have separate bathrooms. That's why some fields are better suited for women than men and vice versa. Skill set is universal; a woman can be great at a job because of her ability, experience, passion. It applies for men as women. There are some female programmers that are as good, if not better, then their male counterparts.

I don't think it's great, I just treat women normally. Apparently that's considered bigotry these days because feminism has rotten a lot of women's brains into thinking they deserve special treatment, so when they're just treated normally, these women feel attacked.
I think men and women are fundamentally different and I think we should have equal opportunity, the tate types are gay. However that doesn't mean you deserve anything just for being a woman. It's like lowering standards for physical tests to become a firefighter. If you don't qualify, you don't qualify. Women are generally weaker than men and fire doesn't discriminate, don't blame society for things like that.

Depends on your definition. Genuine misogyny is "dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women". That's a bad thing.

However, it's been warped into meaning something closer to "insufficient worship of women and/or acknowledgement of the fact men & women are different". This isn't bad.

Women are competitive. Just not in a way that men notice or understand. Women constantly compete with each other. And it's very toxic. It's why some women just can't get along with other women. I stayed out of the whole toxic "my clothes/makeup/hair/body/I'm so much more beautiful than you and will take your man" nonsense and I think I'm all the better for it. I think consumerism is to blame. The products pushed on women are excessive and overpriced. But you need them to be beautiful and valued. The commercial says so. The influencer says so. Ten year olds begging mommy for Sephora hauls say so. It's worse than it's ever been. Beauty isn't something you are born with. It comes out of a tiny $60 tube. It's really tiring.

More like "What passes for feminism these days". Most women don't want special treatment and feel very uncomfortable with it. We just want to be respected and not infantilized or brushed aside when we are capable of something. If we don't want marriage or children we expect our decision to be respected and accepted as much as any man's. Leave us aloe and stop pressuring us. We can make our own decisions just fine.

The problem is the media likes to pump out outrage bait written by unhinged harpies because it generates clicks. Stop falling for the bait. Most women aren't like that. The real brain rot comes from eating that journoslop up and taking it at face value.

I often feel like men don't really want to understand women. But maybe the same goes for us. i find that a lot of the nonsense men think about women I sometimes apply to men without thinking. There has to be something to that. I can't be the only one. I don't want to think like that. You have to work through biases to understand them.

I think all humans have biases but those biases aren't noticed. We each individually see them as normal until someone or something points them out. Who knows, maybe it's part of the meaning of life. Anyone can be a miserable cunt. Even if they don't have one. Just try to get along in the only world you have. Otherwise life is really going to suck.

Sexism is sometimes necessary.
Women shouldn't be in jobs that require physical strength and men shouldn't be in jobs that involve children.
I disagree. High school teachers becoming majority-women in the 1970s was a watershed moment in the youth of this country becoming spineless and worthless -- the severity of which problem has advanced hand in hand with the continuous growth of the proportion of women teachers from then on.

Or, women started to have employment (and their own credit cards) in the 70s and also the male dominated government doesn't value or invest in education? And women are the (idiots) who want to do such a thankless, low paid job like teaching or nursing?
Imo misandry is where it's really at 🤣
