Woke up really early and then realised I have today booked as leave. Yay!

Woke up "early" at 11 pm after 5 hours of sleep. At around 12 check my ex girlfriend's location and see she is at a park near her apartment, then get paranoid that she is with a male and drive there. She is just taking a walk. We talk for 20 minutes, I go grocery shopping, come home and put instant Lasagna in the oven.

This morning I'm still awake (can't sleep, insomnia coupled with summer heat fucking sucks) so far I've taken a walk, smoked a couple cigarettes, showered and shaved, making coffee and trying to decide on something light to eat for breakfast. Probably going to watch/listen to Revenge of the Cis' latest podcast while hoping I'm able to power through the rest of the day without wanting to do an impression of Rip Van Winkle at work.

I had some delicious yogurt and berries, swept the kitchen floor (you know you need to sweep when you're stepping on pieces of cereal you haven't bought in like, a week) and took a poop. Yay! And now I'm getting ready to skate downtown to buy myself a skimboard.
Pineapples! Hopefully the snake is in good shape, it sucks when people get pets they don't know how to handle. I love snakes but I don't have the knowledge or space to have one.

4 hours of labor early this AM, but the summer's winding down and there's not as much work lately. I like physical labor in smaller doses, it sets me in the right place for the rest of the day and somehow makes little things (a meal, a smoke, a beer) seem much more special.
