Are troons into Chinese EVs? For some reason, I had visions in my head of a troon entering car culture and bragging about how he destroyed his 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Superbird by painting it pink and trying to make it look like a syringe.

For anyone wondering which car I'm talking about, this. The Road Runner would definitely be painted over by a troon.

Mopar people are crazy, I should know, I'm one of 'em. The sheer autism of Mopar owners would crucify a troon for ruining a classic car like that.

Troonism chews through autistic kids' hobbies like nothing else. It's frankly really tragic. A lot of troons deserve to be miserable, but e.g. the Bionicle obsession tell the story of a kind-of-nerdy guy who was last happy when he was a kid in the 90's or early 2000's.

This kind of guy would have gotten to live a normal life some years ago. Being a little uncool in high school, joining the computers and renaissance fair clubs in college to make lifelong friends, getting a steady, well-paying salaried job, and settling down when his friends and relatives set him up with a nice, vaguely geeky girl who was never an eye-catcher but cleaned up cute enough. I've seen lots of somewhat older guys who followed this path and ended up happy.

Instead of this, today, he spends his high school years 'learning' that everything male is bad and evil, goes to college and finds that everyone like him is sitting in their rooms and trying to find some kind of community over the internet, graduates and finds that DEI has locked him out of every job, and incompetent H1Bs have been hired instead. Even families have become sufficiently dissolute that nobody's playing matchmaker, so:

• The bottom X percent of these guys troon out and gradually go crazy. They become increasingly deranged trying to prove their loyalty to the system that ruined them, often joining some kind of antifag group.
• The top Y percent manage to get a challenging, well-paying job that's exempt from jeet nepotism and work into their graves, spending their money on expensive hobbies to distract themselves from the unfulfilled desire to start a family.
• The remaining majority just sort of fades through life with a vague, low-level misery. If society gets bad enough, some of them will channel their autism into building and operating FPV drones, and the best of these guys will get to have families after all. For now, though, it's a very depressing existence for them.

That’s if they get to graduate. Speaking from personal experience, a lot of us didn’t even get to graduate after colleges made the covid vaccine mandatory. This will somehow be their own fault, of course

I feel for you but you really should have either made something up for an exemption or, more reliably, just printed out and laminated a fake vax card. Covid was a relatively low-stakes tutorial on how to subvert government mandates.
