I'm alright with TERFS. They're the only feminists who still know what a woman is and you can have a conversation with them. I'm fine with the Equal Opportunity school of feminism. If I had a daughter and she wanted to blow stuff up or build a killdozer I certainly wouldn't want anybody to tell her she couldn't because she's a girl. I'd probably be even more proud of her for it.

I may not agree that I'm evil for being a man but I can at least respect those smaller faction of women that set their values above social conformity. Isn't not doing so one of the chief criticisms by anti-women groups. I'm not scared, I can stand up for myself. It's actually the non-TERFy women who will quietly sabotage or complain about you to HR that have caused me more grief. TERFy types who will actually debate me I can get on fine with mostly.

Also, they share my concerns about the TRA lobby. If someone wants to say it's because they're personally affected well maybe but honestly, women and kids are most affected by this so I would bloody well hope they fight back.

Anyway, TERF these days is pretty much any woman who rejects trans ideology. Plus some of them make me laugh.

I mean I know of several topics unrelated to gender benders that ended up here as refugee status.
Fact remains trannys and other repulsive libs are jannys in multiple other sites like Reddit. Because talking about them is bad they must make rules that talking about people is bad. So many random Snark pages get shut down now.
It always goes back to them when you look into it. But I see your point.

it's not just that
they are the same feminists who pushed lgbt into the mainstream, but their buyer's remorse is hyper focussed on the tranny part, and even there they exclusively care about the narrow subset of tranny shit that inconveniences or annoys them personally.
they are still enthusiastic supporters of the rest of the lgbt package, and they remain willfully blind to how all of that underlying ideology is what enabled and continues to enable the tranny shit in the first place.

Look, I just like other places.....besides this one......allowing me to say my piece. That's it. And for now, there's precious few that will allow you to do that once a stupid ass tranny shows up.

It's well known that mommy places online suck, and all that. But when one of these voluntarily infertile freaks shows up and demands to be centered in places about genuine chick things like "I"m feeling X, is this normal after having a kid/going through perimenopause/a mammogram"......and there's noisy handmaidens yelling at anyone who says normal things like "this doesn't concern you, please stay out of it"......yeah, that's irritating AF.

Go huff each other's farts somewhere else.

Even though they were responsible for spawning such abominations in the first place, they did popularize the idea that it is possible to argue in favor of TTD within a leftist framework.

And also seeing that any woman can be labeled a "TERF" merely for disagreeing with transgender ideology, no radical feminism needed, they did call attention to the fact that transgender ideology disproportionately hurts women.

I guarantee you if the pendulum ever swings, TERFs will want the same exact shit back that caused trannies to happen in the first place.

Not necessarily. Zoe Quinn trooned out, and even before then, bullied a TERF group called the Fine Young Capitalists. Justin "Riley" Dennis was a pretty big player on certain feminist blogs. I've never heard Anita Sarkeesian say anything bad about transgenderism.

JK Rowling, as dumb as she could be on numerous occasions, was never quite as bad as most feminists, even at that time. Most feminists back in 2015 were sucking troon dick pretty hard. Not to say that many feminists at that time didn't eventually come to their senses and realize that transgenderism posed a direct threat to their rights, even moreso than their hated enemies during the Gamergate era.

I will agree with you that even TERFs were responsible for creating the monster that would turn into gender ideology tho.

In my humble opinion, TERFs have improved feminism. Obviously not all the extreme radical ones on tumblr that deliberately make themselves physically repulsive to "own the patriarchy" or whatever, but on the whole they've made me care much more about women's sex-based rights. I used to be a big proponent of the anti-feminism train around the Gamergate era when feminism was exclusively about complaining about men and non-issues in the first world, but whether it be the change in modern feminism or me just getting older, I've really come to care about a lot of TERF talking points. I'm still a bit hesitant to loudly and proudly call myself a feminist because of the negative connotations around it (even in this thread people assume feminist=man-hating dyke) but I would still consider myself one almost exclusively due to agreeing with many TERF views. I guess my biggest complaint about the term "TERF" is that it implied you have to be a radical feminist to be trans exclusionary, and that doesn't fit me at all.
