The dog is wild and she has no clue what she's doing. She's simply trying to assert dominance. You can tell that the dog is generally loved. Look how excited he is. A truly abused dog does not act that excited.
If you're triggered by this, then you are a part of the problem.
I think the biggest issue comes from the fact that she spit on the dog. That isn't discipline or "asserting dominance" that just being a cunt to an animal for no reason.
I get yelling at your dog/hitting them. I have a very high energy dog who is very stubborn. Yet I never yell at him when he is trying to be playful only when he is trying be destructive. She really dosent seem like she is ready for a of outside the easy YouTube shekels.
Truth is her swatting the dog when it leaps up at her is sensible, especially if you've ever had to deal with any dog that gets excited and then tries to knock you over. The rest of it though gets really fucking dumb. The only reason I wouldn't classify it as outright animal abuse is that the dog probably thought she was playing. That's a great way to teach an animal that when you yell at it or otherwise try to control it that it should do the precise opposite behavior.
