I suppose that makes sense for him. I certainly feel that Morrissey never pretended to be gay. Instead the media assumed he was gay and whenever they questioned him about it, he just talked in circles. IIRC one time he caved (probably out of boredom and disgust) and sort of implied he was gay, but he forcefully contradicted that a few years later.
Obviously we can't know, but you'd think by now that if he was actually gay some faggot would have come out and said that he had gay sex with Morrissey.
The fact that faggots throw themselves at him when he's on stage tells you more about the nature of faggots, than the nature of Morrissey. There is nothing quite so exciting to a faggot than the possibility of having gay sex with a man who isn't actually gay.
