There are so many things to do in Japan. - What do I do in my 2 week trip?

I'll be going to Japan in May and I want to go with the flow. What are the things in Japan that is clearly a must do?

If your into Fishing check out some of the Tackle Shops those places are amazing and sell stuff really cheap for brands they sell in the UK/EU/US but at a fraction of the cost.

Same goes for Camera Shops, especially if your into Film photography.

If you can check out any of the Traditional Crafts Museums if that's your thing it's nice to see crafts from another culture / tradition.

If your into writing at all see if you can find yourself a new hand made fountain pen, the Japs make some amazing Pens, Ink and Paper.

The Areas around Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima. I want to visit Gardens, Shrines and other beautiful landmarks. I love amusement parks too but I want to broaden my experience.

Do you like food? I have always wanted to try this Korean ice cream place in Shinjuku. They have weird rules, though, like one bowl per person and you gotta eat your massive bowl within an hour.

You should try visiting Loutre cafe in Osaka. For around $20 USD, you spend an hour with Asian Small Claw river otters featured on the Youtube channel. There is also one in Kyoto.

I found Hoko-Ji shrine by chance while googling why North Korean farm land was red colored (it's because of poor farming practices) and decided to compare it to Japanese farm lands. Touched a random point on Japan and this beautiful country buddhist temple appeared. You park your car out front and head up the mountain steps to the campus. According to Wikipedia, Hoko-Ji temple was built in 1300s as commanded by Hideyoshi Toyotomi because he wanted a temple cooler than one in Nara. On the drive to the temple, a lot of houses appear to have electricity from the grid but they use propane to heat their homes. All those houses have propane tanks.
