On the anime side of things I'm really weirded out by the choices, especially 2 episodes each of Hetalia and Ouran High School Host Club and one episode of Yuru Yuri, yet there's no Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Haibane Renmei, Princess Tutu, Wolf's Rain, you know, some genuinely creative and introspective anime (although props for Puella Magi Madoka Magica). It really speaks to his Enterbots I guess.

His 1001 Animations crap is just... No. When making a list of the best cartoons, you need to really think about it.

If I was doing that, it'd be taking Jerry Beck's 50 Greatest Cartoons book, adding "Stimpy's Invention" to that list, and think, think, think from there.

The video game one was inspired by a book of the same name, which he hated:

Even back then, Enter's ego was showing but it wasn't as obvious as it is now. And of course he would chose a shitload of MLP episodes. That show is the closest thing he'll ever have for a girlfriend.

So. He hates modern Spongebob because it's, in his words "sadistic" nowadays.

But on his Best Animations list... he has the episode of South Park in which Cartman forces a kid to eat his own parents.

I... what?

Actually, that's a fairly important episode of South Park given what happens in episode 200/201.

But another thing that probably catapulted that specific episode high on the list is that it's widely regarded as one of the best moments of Catman in the show's history. The kid who unwittingly ate his own parents? Earlier in the ep, he publicly humiliated Cartman to a level nobody else ever had done before (if it wasn't Cartman's karma kicking him in the ass, that is), and the fact Cartman goes all-out Sweeny Todd in pure revenge really underlined why you do not fuck with him.

So, it's not the content that specifically got it on the list, it's because the episode is one of the most popular episodes of the series.

Ugh, fucking Ouran High School Host Club? Seriously?!

I caught bits and pieces of it when my sister binge-watched multiple anime series on Netflix (granted, it introduced me to Soul Eater which is rather good) and that Host Club show was one of them.

It's literally self-described as being a bunch of assholes who "have more time than things to do in their free time" and the main character pretty much is being forced into indentured servitude because of a set-up by one of the boys who not-so-secretly crushes on her hard. I also can not tell you what the fuck the club even did, so take that as you will.

Though I wouldn't call most of that "admirable", I'm actually surprised to find stuff South Park and Hetalia on there
I thought Enter wouldn't shows like those enough to consider them "admirable".
You learn something new everyday.

South Park made fun of Family Guy once with the dolphins and the word balls. It was a long-running joke about how repetitive the formula is every episode in Family Guy. Given how much Entard hates Family Guy...

And Hetalia is confusing, though it's either pandering pure and simple to the masses or because he didn't remember anything other than it was a show that had something to do with the relations between world powers in WWII.

This is all true, but this is MrEnter we're talking about. He HATES this sort of shit unless he's the one doing it. Even if he didn't make the list completely by himself I'm still shocked he allowed any South Park on here, especially an episode like that.

Most of the list proves that he and his fanboys are total plebs when it comes to animation, though.
