i mean, there should at least be an option in the settings for the game to highlight things like that instead of just doing it anyway.

The original Final Fantasy 7 figured that out 25+ years ago, you press a button and little arrows pop up showing you what is interactable and what places you can enter to another map. That's why it's so bizarre to see people desperately defend this in rebirth
