Out of all the word games, this ones feels the most luck based.

Well, I feel like I'm alright at this game, but never really beat the weekly deluxe waffle. I also spend a minute or mentally solving the daily, while I don't spend that much time preloading the weekly.

Not sure if that helps at all.

I feel like there is probably a way to guarantee a win by doing some mental chess shit where you're maximizing your ability to check many words at once, most people just don't do it because it takes too long

For sure. I do it for this game, but there's others out there i don't really care about and just employ a "swap and pray" method of attack.
