The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

Him going full Karen has eliminated all the goodwill he fostered in me with the points he was making about DMCA. He deserves special treatment (lol no) because he's been with Twitch since 2013 (who cares). He's still right but I don't give a shit if he stays on Twitch or goes to YouTube or fucks off to Tibet.

That’s the unique thing about Phil.

Half the lulz he provides are from being shit at games, begging and his wheelchair viewers.

The other half is courtesy of his hardcore trolls who literally lose their shit every time his pigroach luck saves the day.
I just don't get why people get their hopes up. The other two DMCA's didn't stick, why would this one? Tune in, laugh at him turning in to a Karen, and hope he leaves Twitch over his pride because as always: Phil is his own worst enemy.

That's the thing with DSP.

Even when he's right, he still manages to piss people off. Not even in a "no Walter, you're just an asshole" way, but a "this man just needs to shut the fuck up" way.

That takes a special kind of talent.

This "letter of the law vs. the spirit of the law" schtick has me rolling. "Rainy day fund" v2.0 tbqh

Although I know since this claim is coming from Phil it means nothing and isn’t probably true, but he did confirm that if his channel kept being flagged for DMCA strikes, it would essentially be permanently banned regardless of whether the strikes are valid/ invalid.

I’m not even sure why people are focusing on the why he’s getting banned, these DSKaren moments are absolute peak DSP. Some of the best content is produced when the pig is frightened and backed into the corner; that’s when we get T-poses, hoof flailing, pointing paws at the camera, making idle And non-actionable threats.

I don’t care how he gets backed into that corner, as long as he does and we get to enjoy the sperginess resulting from the pig being scared about losing “muh livelihood for muh family.”

god I love how angry people get when this fucking dude gets unbanned because he literally did nothing wrong and the dmca is just bullshit

No-one is angry that he got unbanned again. No-one on Kiwi at least. Have we been reading the same thread?

I have a real question for you and others here I have been thinking about. The whole thing about lolcows is you want to milk them for laughs, not to kill them off. If I am being honest, I don’t want mainstream attention for Phil where he gets cancelled and no longer makes content. Losing his house or wife or getting exposed for WWE Champions is one thing, but I don’t want him to leave. I just want him to provide what a lolcow provides. Am I wrong?

Don't sweat it. If he were to actually get booted from Twitch, he would just set up shop somewhere else and beg for more money. Dude makes around $130k-$150k a year. There's no job he could get, even with 5-10 years of good work, that would make him that much. He won't ever stop streaming until he is straight-up forced to.

I love this shit. If he had a big enough loyal base, they could probably have some modicum of clout to help Phil in this situation.

But a handful of whales? Not exactly a rousing chorus in Phil's defense, from Twitch's perspective.
