I want to draw a distinction here; there's those that want the plug pulled on the show here for whatever reason, mad at the internet, autistic murder machine impulses, basic misandry, whatever. Then there are those, I count myself among them here too, who want the show to go on even if they're ok with the funding being cut to the star of the presentation's bottom line since it will generate hilights of content more consistently.
Taking down a stream with repeated false DMCA claims either falls in the former category or it runs counter intuitive in the long run to the latter. So I'm left now to suspect that by continuing this false DMCA crusade against DSP, this person is actually trying to engender sympathy for him secretly by being so transparent in their bullshit claims. While these disruptions provide plenty of drama for viewers in the latter group, they highlight the unhinged obsession a lot of the former group embody when they reveal their over the top hatred of a fat dummy who plays vidya badly from his ancient sectional seating. It plays and strikes me as a parody of actual detractors of the virulent strain and if anything hints that the stated goal of fucking with Phil is a cover for their real intentions to the opposite, trying to make Phil an actual victim instead of just a complex holder which we know he will then monetize to the fullest extent possible he can. And what do you know, his vest streak is intact even off Twitch due to these take-downs, almost as if stooping to this level to strike at DSP only makes people feel worse for him and want to support him more monetarily!
Basically, my spider sense is tingling and I don't trust this is anything more than elaborate feint to reach deeper into wheelchair's pockets while they lean forward in their seats to take in the manufactured drama. Whether DSP and the DMCA troll are in league together behind the scenes or not is the only question left, to me, but as I see it now, this isn't an attempt to cancel him, it's an attempt to buttress him in fact.

If he cannot afford a lawyer he can't afford the litigation when the big name streamer who can afford a lawyer tells him to eat shit and claims fair use, which is exactly what would happen if you tried to do that without real representation.
Attorney and USPTO id. USPTO at a bare minimum. If you can't take the time to register your copyright you don't deserve an automated takedown system.
Non-attorney 3rd party representation should be illegal and penalized the same as impersonating an attorney.
How about a compromise? If you have a real attorney and the USPTO id information, then you get an automated service on your claim that the suposidly infringing party must then counter after action. Without it, you're not getting an auto takedown despite having to provide the USPTO id information for your claim and the other party is given chance to counter the claim before action is taken which failing to do so or not properly countering will trigger a takedown? No representation and your USPTO id information doesn't gibe with your claim, then you can be punished as impersonating an attorney which you have to swear you are not doing prior to filling your claims.

Slow mode was on every youtube stream in the chat during this arc but I couldn't read it because having it open lags all my system resources until I want to not watch the stream anymore due to it, it's that bad even if the content is the best.
