It has none of the anime aesthetics that usually attract them and no opportunities for the narcissists to show off either, SCP is largely a collaborative writing effort about a sterile, somewhat morally ambiguous foundation that researches anomalous objects and entities.
And this simple opportunity to write fictitious little stories and entries where anything could happen, was enough to draw them in and let them bastardize everything because these people are talentless leeches, on top of always having to make things about themselves.

I barely avoided my server being taken over by troons

back in the early days of discord I made the mistake of letting users vote for who gets to be moderators in my tabletop RP server and a particularly stinky powertrip troon got into head mod position before showing the typical tell tale signs of troonery.

he invited a tonne of nasty people who posts questionable (illegal?) content in the NSFW channel and regularly disrupted normal channels' chat flow via derailment (and at one point even tried to groom a younger user on the server - couldnt condemn him on that one cuz he did it in DMs and that kid deleted his account and stopped talking to all of us even outside of discord)

he also gossipped behind my back and slandered me when I called him out on it, something that I am glad my server members (at least the ones that weren't invited by him) knew me well enough than to believe his lies.

when I approached the troublemakers in question, nothing improved, and head mod guy was defending them (and them being at least one third of the server's user base)

I had to basically change the server power structure to pretty much dictatorship, remove the head mod for "going against the spirit of the server's original intentions" (man I had to bleach my ears for all the sex/gender/race garbage he spewed - why is it always that faggy kinda voice with these types - before I banned him for mass pinging members in every channel after de-modding him), and then kicking out everyone who didnt like the change, then personally appoint people to do the moderating based on past records, the users who remained silently agreed to this change and continued using the server like usual.

my current head mod is someone I trust so I basically can take a somewhat hands off approach these days (also cuz the purge removed most of the explosive elements - maybe some moderate libtards got caught in the crossfire but hey you gotta prioritize and make sacrifices for the greater good of society man)

also, "if you leverage the discord ToS about deadnames or pronouns or any other forms of forced inclusivity you will be banned on sight with no appeal possible due to being a public danger to others' discord accounts" was added to the rules of the server to prevent any possible relapse

TL;DR the pattern outlined by the original post is true and I'm glad I did what I could to prevent total troon takeover

"Entity that changes your body and gives you locked in syndrome" is a usable premise, but really shows the troons of modern SCP have forgotten what made the old articles so compelling. It's vague, but unlike old SCPs which would leave things vague with a cheeky 'redacted' to let your mind wander to untold horrors, it's just vague because it's bad. The entity just... does things and the page lists them off and focuses on the troon's transition being erased from everyone's memory. For fucks sake it causes locked in, induces pregnancy (Who's the father, the entity? is the baby even human?) and figures out exactly who to lobotomize to stop the troon from retrooning.

The last part about Charlotte didn't make sense either. Her husband was a pooner the whole time and both her kids were trooning out?

Also looking at nu-scp terminology, archon means the anomaly is containable, but the foundation doesn't. Probably because that fits the narrative of 'it happens to troons and everyone hates usssss' despite "a hostile, sapient entity of unknown shape and size whose primary anomalous property is the ability to create and manipulate human flesh" being exactly the kind of thing the foundation would try to contain.

Ever since it changed from a combat simulator where the average character would die before reaching level 3 to a "hero" RP simulator where everyone takes the same special snowflake character all the way to Level 20 and beyond, it's been a shitfest. DND was never meant to be used for that sort of RPing, it was primarily created as a dungeon crawling and adventuring game, ever since the days of AD&D. But I digress.

Sure, there are people who would get mad at me for making a professionally-racist dwarf with his own book of slurs for all races, but if my DM cackles and says "do it" it doesn't matter. And of course, you can just play other editions and homebrew to your little chud heart's content.

You may be excused for being blind to this as understanding Guilty Gear lore requires the effort needed for a Bachelor's, but to put in simple terms, Bridget should have been the least likely person to become trans. Bridget was a guy who was forcibly feminized from birth because having male twins was an ill omen in his town - to the point that the town was willing to murder a child if the family did not put one up for adoption. The whole reason he was becoming a bounty hunter was to disprove the superstition, bring respect to his name and town, and finally claim his birthright of owning a penis. By transitioning, it showcases that he's effectively given up his goal of revealing his true nature and is merely going to obey his town's status quo. Kind of ironic for a trans icon.
