Hyperglycemia will have the same effect on a person as uncontrolled diabetes. Excess glucose in the blood damages the nerves, the kidney's, the heart, strongly promotes UTI's (since the excess sugar ends up in the urine) increases the risk of spontaneous sepsis, etc... It can also promote insulin resistance because the body tries to bring the blood sugar levels down unsuccessfully. It means high blood sugar. I'm not sure about if that specifically refers to causing diabetes but their blood sugar levels sky-rocket after hormone blockers. It also mention hypoglycemia, low blood sugar.
I'm certain most people remember Sharkboy, the guy who probably developed a recto-neovaginal fistula. That's another one of the greatest hits with post-op troons. Can't find the original post featuring him.
I've also read a story of a post-op who got pounded in the AM HOLE so bad his cavity ruptured and died after developing some nasty shit - air got into his chest cavity and sepsis due to peritoneal infection. Can't remember where I've read it, though.
There have been several case reports of "neovaginas" rupturing from "intercourse" and the individual either suffering severe long term physical harm and consequences or indeed dying from overwhelming infection.
