She's a fucking woman. Even if she enjoys doing shit men do and can act like men act sometimes, she still has the same feminine interests of being loved, protected and esteemed at heart. Why do you think that a woman stops being a woman just because she acts a certain way among men sometimes? The only women that can do that are FTM trannies and lesvians, an that's because they are mentally ill. Literally every tomboy I ever met was just a normal girl that like vidya, sports, STEM shit or other things men typically do and thus hung out with men a lot. I meant to say before I accidentally just reposted you post, that may be the case but I still feel that tomboys are relatively normal since they have interests and things they have genuine passion for. Just from observing women for like 15 years now, I can tell a lot of them have very little personality or havr very little going on for them. Maybe I just want what you said, even then I wouldn't be opposed to having a tomboy gf. Again, I have met a lot of them over the years and they seem like perfectly normal women.

I'm not sure if people have a set definition for tomboy.Some people make them sound like trannies, but trannies are too ugly and manly, some say a tomboy is like a twink, but they are too weak and feable.

A tomyboy personality, as least IMO and experience, is a feminine looking woman who doesn't enjoy the bitchy, back-stabbing catty ways of women. They dress well, but don't care too much about fashion, they socialise well and know how to have a laugh, but would rather be doing traditionally couple-y things with their partners. Where they differ from women is that they aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty or rolling up their sleeves, but when the work is done, they scrub up and look like women.

As for their attitude, they are generally quiet, well put-together mentally and are more interested in deeper conversations than "omgz, derricks new shoes are so ugly, like omg".

If that's gay, then I'm George Michael and Elton John spit-roasting Freddie Mercury (I don't know any modern day gays)

You assume that a tomboy is less of a woman/girl than a "feminine, real" woman, which is lunacy and departs from the biological essence of sex.
Tomboys are NOT manly women, btw. Tomboys are generally the "pixie" stereotype, typically able to mingle with boys and have fun with them. You might encounter them in your basketball or volleyball teams at the school. In the past when we played outside, you could find tomboys more interested in doing what the boys did, instead of the "girly" stuff that females usually started to get into at 13-14 - fashion, boy bands, self-care. Instead, a tomboy might be just found with her brother and his friends exploring the nearby wood or some old ruins of a deserted factory.
Tomboy women and girls are exactly as feminine and good mates as any other more stereotypical women. If you think that shorter hair, propensity to like more stereotypically male stuff and being thin is gonna affect a personal relationship, you're wrong. It will be the exact same thing,

How much of this is modern gender shit, and how much is capitalism/Hollywood?

Kinda feel like the 80s to 00s might've been a sort of sweet spot for females in general. Too late to be indoctrinated with tradwife-prep femininity, and too early to be indoctrinated with all the queer troon theory.

Now, I kinda feel like a better vocabulary choice to describe the phenomenon than "manly" might be "non-womanly"... if we also define "womanly" to refer to current societal expectations and standards for "female socialization" or doing intimate girl talk and whatever stuff girls are "supposed" to do. If Alex McPussy or whoever would rather spend her weekends gaming, camping in the woods, or welding, voila, she's a tomboy. Which is such a stupid standard if you ask me because, well, sexism, but not in the way the retarded gender cuckolds would possibly want us to think. But there we have it, that's a tomboy for y'all. Pretty sure that also has to do with why so many tomboys are autists, since autists are simply too retarded to understand how to female-as-sold-to-our-society-in-current-year.

Ofc, this all worked like a one-way street, and it's only been since quite recently that men have been able to reliably and consistently get away with putting on frocks and trooning out. I wonder why.

This thread might be dead or not, but I want to make sure we're all on the same page: are we talking the classical image of atomboy where it's more about a girl's interests and the thing's she does as hobbies or are we talking about zoomer tomboys, which is more about the aesthetic (short hair, wears boys clothes, etc.)? Because while there is overlap, they aren't the same thing imo. Zoomer tomboys kinda forget that the tomboys of days past were often very feminine in appearance and demeanor, it's just that you were more likely to see them in the arcade/LAN parties/sports parties than other girls and they would also get into it. I feel that's why there's an entire discussion about whether liking them is gay: people equate tomboys with the aesthetic, not the actual behavioral part. I tend to think of it as a behavioral trait since that is what I was exposed to as a child of the early to late 2000s and seeing a fair few of them that exemplified feminine grace with healthy co-ed hobbies/interests, I just associated them with those particular attributes. Even if we are talking about zoomer tomboys, I still find it kinda hard to think of them being attractive as gay since the vast majority of them still look like girls even with the short hair. When a woman starts looking like a man, she's either very unfortunate, a butch lesbian or more common nowadays, gaslighted by globohomo bullshit into thinking she's a boy.
