Ethan hasn't uploaded in well over a month and his Twitter's been deleted, unless I somehow missed that before.
Comments on his last video have people shitting on him, though I wouldn't be surprised that most of it isn't from his usual viewers, considering both his and Nick's audience are naive teenagers that would rather remain ignorant of how their fave creator fucked up.

Supposedly Lex was planning on putting out a follow up response to both Matt and Ryan's videos addressing the allegations, but at this point, what else can she possibly provide? She's burned bridges with both Nick and Leighton, and I wouldn't be surprised to see her blaming Ethan for pulling the dipshit move of livestreaming SuperMega's sub loss in real time and celebrating over it.
I'd imagine this drama's completely dead in the water by now, although I'd like to see Matt and Ryan come back at the start of the new year, hopefully having gotten all their shit in order so that they don't get involved in a 4th betrayal.

Very good OP!! The only thing I'd personally add is Ryan's more recent response on his Twitter. Archive 1 and Archive 2.
One aspect of this whole situation that spoke miles for me were how Matt and Ryan conducted themselves in their responses. Despite everything that was thrown at them, they handled themselves pretty gracefully, all things considered. Above all else, all they want(ed) is for Lex and everyone else to apologize for using their deceased friend as ammunition against them. Ryan was the first person to find Daniel's lifeless body. That shit sticks with you for the rest of your life. To have a close friend's death be used against you by people who never even knew them? I'd be pretty petrified too.

Lex strikes me as someone who needs a handler. Maybe it's because her brain is fried, but she seems like someone who is incapable of making her own decisions, let alone sticking to them. Seeing Lex/Ethan/Leighton/Nick starting to turn on each other is kind of cathartic, if a bit predictable. LA "friendships" like that just don't last, man.

one thing that no one brought up so far but seems like a hugely obvious point to me: publicly announcing a reason for firing an employee is a big legal no-no.
while there are some reasons you can disclose, it usually involves legal action, and saying anything opens you to litigation, which is why most companies will opt for just confirming that the person no longer works there. even if lex went to the police, their hands would be tied unless dan was convicted, and even then, it's be very stupid of supermega to do anything but confirm he was let go.
therefore, the meat of the accusation, that supermega "covered up" the assault, is simply false. they handled it correctly, at least from the business side of things. the worst that can be said about them is that they pick shitty friends.
i suppose this comes from the fact that everyone involved is an adult toddler who never had to behave professionally or hold down a job.

And as if all of this wasn't bad enough, guess who's been caught liking numerous tweets that are all shitting on Nick for how terribly he handled covering this situation:
We've somehow reached the point where Nick, who willingly signal-boosted his friend's story of sexual assault and other misc wrongdoings at the hands of SuperMega, now has Lex expecting him to publicly apologize for repeating many of the dubious claims that she put forth (outside of the alleged sexual assault).
Outside observers are bewildered at this point, and there's still a very real possibility of Lex putting out a response to everything that's happened, which could involve her going after Nick. If so, this woman is absolutely unhinged and will backstab any man who's ever crossed her.
Going to double-post, only because a very recent development's come up.
It seems like the video has really accelerated Nick's decline, as not only had the mod privated Nick's subreddit before quitting, but his channel's also been steadily losing tens of thousands of subs across his two channels.

Current speculation is that Ethan just watched someone's videos that talked about the drama with SuperMega, and he's now currently having some kind of manic episode where he replies to every random person on Twitter that's calling out him and Lex for acting maliciously. He's been doubling-down on almost every dubious claim made from the original allegations, including some of Leighton's bullshit claims of rampant homophobia and sexual harrassment at the hands of Matt and Ryan, and his response to anyone pushing back boils down to him demanding proof, and then when given receipts basically saying "nuh-uh" or "ummm, ack-uallyyy..."
And while her brave white knight's been fighting online on her behalf, Lex has not only been liking his tweets, but has also confirmed that she really is planning to go through with that follow up response video that will reignite all the drama:
