if you like puzzles and dying alot trying to figure it out, sure its a fun game. heard full body has a difficulty that makes puzzles brain dead easy if you just wanna know the story. the story itself is alright.

Am I the only one who actually liked Soul Hackers 2? It is very underrated. Sure it might get boring but it is still fun imo. Ringo is a fucking delight and I'll be forever mad Sheena Ringo didn't contribute music to it.

The dungeons are bland and uninspired? Sure. But so was Persona 3's (fight me)

Its also incredibly colorful and the writing is pretty great.

I liked what I played of it, but it just had unfortunate timing on it's release, being near other shit I was interested in. It's still one of the weirder series to get a random sequel, but at least it seems like the devs gave a shit when they made it.

I'll probably go back to it at some point - and hey, at least it has an actual storyline, that's already a step up from SMT5.

One of the biggest issues I had with the game was that all the characters outside of Ringo were very boring and forgettable and she wasn't able to carry the game alone. Persona 3's dungeons might have been bland and uninspired just like soul hackers 2 but at the end of the day I still wanted to get threw them so that I could see what was going to happen to the characters in the game. Soul Hackers 2 just didn't give me a good enough of a reason to want to make it threw all the boring parts.
 
imagine how fast she would trend if she leaned into it and went 'yea well here's the real cover'. instead she got sensitive...as an 'artist' of some sort. Artist thrive when they lean into controversy and are eaten alive when they are scared. RIP your career Lady...could have become the next viral 'must have' faceless voice actor that are easily replaceable because nobody gives a fuck what a voice sounds like in a video game.

 
I was originally a bit mad that FeMC would likely not be an option for the remake but then I realized that most of her fanbase are those insufferable YASS QUEEN SLAYY types so thank fuck she's not in now.
 
I'm glad because it's one less remake I feel compelled to play, I only finished it once with the guy. If the remake had the girl plus the PS2's additional content I'd probably want to play it.
 
I also don't think i will be playing the P3 remake at all because i already played the PSP version to death, slapping on a new coat of paint isn't enough for me to get back to it. Not to mention that i'm sure it will arrive with a $60 price tag. Still my favourite Persona game.
I'd kill for a DDS remake in a modern engine or a new Devil Survivor entry. I hope Tactica is at least somewhat fun and has a decent story but i'm bracing myself for Persona Q-tier writing, which is dogshit.

I would have bought it if half the fucking game hadn't been cut out and sold as DLC

My apologies, i forgot for a second that we are living in Clown World, where it's absolutely reasonable, especially now with half the world being fucked over by inflation and increased cost of living, to tack an extra $10 on the price for no reason whatsoever. Oh, your game didn't sell as well as you hoped for? Must be them dang dirty pirates. Oh, it shipped with Denuvo? Well, whatever could be the fucking reason then? Surely people are willing to pay extra for such essential items as vidyangaemes (especially remakes with less content) in these trying times, it certainly can't be the higher price tag!

And that's only if your American - up here in Canuckistan, New Games for Next Gen are starting at $90. Add whatever they're charging extra between Season Passes and Booster Items and shit?

Fuck modern gaming at these prices.

That’s all industries, though. Corporations have made a science out of squeezing out more money for less value without totally pushing their customers away. It takes a really bad scandal to kill a company overnight, and even then it’s more a result of investors panicking and pulling out than a lack of sales revenue.
