It's a show made for stout, middle-aged divorced women who devour crime shows with Mary Sue girlboss protagonists i.e. the exact sort of people who subscribe to Apple TV. We'll get more of this kind of already dated nonsense for the next year or two at least. You know tons of shows like this got greenlit and funded during 2022/2023 when the big brains in the Professional Liberal class were expecting Biden or Kamala to be in the White House for another term.

Everything on Apple TV is what incredibly boring people who grew up in the 90s think is cool or interesting. I enjoy the few seconds of knockoff Christchurch in the trailer, you can tell just from that clip this movie/show/whatever was gonna be total dogshit. Will 100% pirate when it either comes out or leaks for all the funny bullshit in it.
