Judging by that clip, her son sounds pretty well-adjusted and mortified about the idea of a documentary. Imagine being him, actively avoiding talking about your mother, out of sheer embarrassment.

I feel so fucking bad for this kid, oh my god. He's legit more mature than his mom as he realizes actions have consequences and that they can affect more than just you. She's so focused on this abstract concept of rebuilding reputation or something that she can't see the reality of her current situation as "total embarrassment to everyone around her Rachel Dolezal".

I do agree it's crazy Netflix is making a documentary on this obviously crazy white bitch (the documentary name is awful goddamn), but I might pirate it or something anyways- just to see how the people close to her react to her. I'm hoping there are relatively few enablers and maybe some realists like her kid, but that's probably optimistic.

This woman is like a walking /pol/ shitpost. She was born white (Czech/Slovak judging by surname), born in the bumfuck state of Montana. Then her parents adopt three niglets, and she goes to college in the south, then going to Howard (a historically black college) for her Master's. She makes paintings from the perspective of a black guy, and gets questioned on it, so she makes up a rape story and tries to sue Howard (she fails).

This bitch so clearly fetishizes black American culture that in addition to becoming a chapter leader of the NAACP (this is where her contemporary public controversy began), she married a black guy, has two kids, became legal guardian of two of the niglets and is a hair dresser on food stamps.
