There was a reason why societies had things why today we consider "abhorrent". That is, segregation, the culling of certain types of people, aiming to be the best type of certain generation, or something of the kind. To my knowledge, Pawoo was simply intended for Japanese artists (who are often much more extreme than Western artists, if Pixiv is anything to go by) to post their work rather than a honeypot for jacked up weirdos. But like Baraag and Aethy, Pawoo is extremely attractive to artists of extreme porn and their audiences, so it ends up becoming an echo chamber primed for porn escalation.

Instances like these will perform a whole song and dance about how what they create is purely for entertainment and isn't indicative of real life behavior, but many of the freaks you see featured in this thread willingly admit that art, literature and other works of fiction were gateways for them to get into more alarming content and even bring their fantasies to life.
