The Other Bennet Sister is a 2026 BBC show based on the novel written by Janice Hadlow in 2020. It stars Ella May Bruccoleri in the role of the middle Bennet sister Mary as she goes on a journey to become less insufferable and hopefully learn taste.

Is anyone watching this? I haven't read the book, yet. Please tell me I'm not the only one who is weirdly excited to see it. Also, should this go into "normal" multimedia?

Has it been released yet? If it was written in covid era it's probably some Cambria Milking Farm regency gooning novel.

Spoilers faded: It takes two full episodes to get to the actual plot. I'm going to assume that the Gardeners were introduced during the Netherfield Ball to allude to the fact that the Bennets will move to London to live with Mr Gardener after Mr Bennet's death. He would be the one naturally in charge of his sister and niece after his brother in-law's death. London will be a place for Mary to develop taste. Also, Mrs. Bennet is mean. Not just mercenary, but mean. But, I guess that's part of the point.
