I rewatched some episodes from the earliest seasons and I loved them. I liked how the Simpson's family feel much grounded to the real world than their versions in the new episodes. There weren't expensive trips to a foreign country, no celebrities having their dick sucked, life in Springfield was almost the same as real life.
For example, in the episode where Homer lost his job for the first time he almost killed himself because he felt that he doesn't have any value to the world, in the modern episodes he would do a reetard shit like yeeting himself out of the bridge dancing a move from Fortnight and screeching Orange Man Bad while falling and being rescued by random celebrity 101.
And I think that if the golden age writing had went on, it would be as dark as Moral Orel. Broken people living in a broke town trying to survive.
I don't get that much sad about their loss of quality but about what they could have been. Their success were their doom.

I'm interested in upgrading my 28.8 kilobaud Internet connection to a 1.5-megabit fiber-optic T1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatible with my token-ring Ethernet LAN configuration?
