I can eat almonds. Almonds don't give me anaphylactic shock, possibly because they're technically pits from a "drupe" fruit (the same classification of fruit as peaches, plums, and cherries) and not tree nuts per se, though I don't think every tree nut has the same allergy-provoking protein as hazelnuts.
Yeah the classification "nut" is surprisingly specific. I do kind of wonder why there is that specific protein in hazelnuts. Any time there are these little differences that are enough to trigger a specific allergy it's curious to me, sometimes there doesn't even seem to have been any prior exposure to the allergen.

I like all kinds, although I’m not a fan of shelled, salted peanuts because most of the time they’re way oversalted, and I can’t taste anything but the salt.

Cashews are pretty b a s e d
  • actually seeds
  • poisonous if not prepped correctly
  • delicious af
  • common garnish in yummy golden triangle dishes
10/10 would eat again

Apparently a type of liqueur can be made out of the fruit, which I’ve heard is good, but I’ve never gotten a chance to try it.

I love all members of the nut family, even the legume pretending to be one.
However all time favorites, roast salted cashews every time, and pine nuts, amazingly tasty.

Duuuuuuuude it looks like spaaaaaace weeeeeed

It does a bit, the coloring is neat, as well as the color of the beans, they're black and white in a speckled sort of fashion.

I like pine nuts as snacks when I can find them. Pine nuts are an integral part of a good pesto, most importantly, and I fucking love pesto.
