Pederson has deserved to be fired for a while now but if Shad Khan really ditches him once he inevitably loses a game against one of the league's juggernauts with a backup QB he's kind of cementing his reputation as a bad owner.

The Lions are benching La Porta to let him get over a mild injury and Hutchinson’s backup is in this game. It’ll be interesting. Za’Darius Smith was picked because he looks like he’ll be able to fill the Hutch shaped hole in the Lions Defense, if he can then it’ll be bad for Pederson.
