There we're some rumors during the preseason when training camp started with Carolina. That Frank Reich invited Cam to come hang out as an assistant coach in the QBs room. Allegedly the owner shot that idea down quickly and it's possible ownership and Cam aren't good friends.

They're prioritizing Jones for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a $100 million deal with incentives that push it further. Honestly I would have tagged Jones and extended Sneed simply because there's a bunch of teams that need a DT who would gladly overpay in draft picks along with giving Jones a healthy contract. However, KC has some good depth at the CB position and Sneed is definitely at the top of that depth chart. He could potentially make for a good trade piece.

According to scouts he's also supposedly a very solid route runner. If he can translate that speed with a good mind for the game at the next level, he could be a generational talent.

Cam has nothing but good to say about Jerry Richardson, but I've never seen him talk about Tepper. So, probably not.

Jones regularly lines up anywhere from 2i to 5 and will go all the way out to 9 technique when called. That versatility is why Spags loves him. The fact that he's one those guys everyone on the team loves also helps.

Pennel did so well against the niners I still don't understand. At 32, he put Trent Williams in the dirt and solo tackled CMC in the same play. He started the year on the practice squad.
