Kinda fucked that the Bears had to sacrifice him to win tonight.
I can honestly say I spent more time watching the In Memoriam segment of Dick Butkus with the TV legend Chris Berman on ESPN than ESPN as a whole.

I was shocked that before the game, I didn’t know that the Bears were 0-4. Even Chris was questioning why have this game on against the Commanders in the first place after Dick’s death came out, though I’m sure he was trying to lift up spirits with a light hearted joke.

Man, I'm glad I stopped giving a shit about the NFL. I'll play the occasional game of Madden every now and again whenever the new game comes to EA Play, but whenever it comes to the actual league, I stopped giving a shit about the time Colin Kaepernick started his kneeling bullshit and making a fool out of himself.

Seems like I haven't missed much.

In their defense, they are going to have 2 high draft picks thanks to the Panthers sucking as well. So if they don't get the top pick, they might be able to get Caleb Williams with the right trade
That's if Caleb is even available. Rumours indicate that he may stay in college for another year since he's living off his NIL money. Genuinely speaking here, he's gonna wait till the right team is at the number 1 spot. This is the first time that star college QB's have leverage. It's gonna be very interesting to see how this plays out.

I don't think the bears will move on from fields especially if he keeps this performance. However at the same time I wouldn't be surprised. Knowing the bears too. They will ruin another QB.

I’m pretty hyped for Cowboys at 49ers. Any predictions? Seems like I’m the only Dallas fan in this thread, and even I think the cowboys are going to get stomped. The cycle has to continue — bash a few bad teams early in the season, retarded fanbase starts talking about the Super Bowl, then immediately crash back down to earth when we play a real contender.

They couldn’t set the edge against Arizona lmao, CMC is going to have a field day.

You're not the only Cowboys fan on the forum, though. Jack Scalfani's gonna be dressed to the 9's during the game. I'm sure he'll have some choice words to say about the game on Facebook, win or lose.

It's gonna be a big one this Sunday, I just hope my Niners can pull it off. I've got no doubt in my mind that Dallas is working on ways to block CMC's run game, especially after his game last week.

I know that's the rumor, but it doesn't make much sense to me. A team isn't picking first because they're worth a shit. He's almost assuredly going to have a new coaching staff. He'll have to declare before the season even ends, let alone public coaching searches start. In this day and age he's just as likely to get a first time head coach as not. Coaching trees aren't exactly guarantees of success. Is he going to get Demeco Ryans or Kingsbury? Who knows. Is Demeco even worth a shit? Looks like maybe, but who honestly knows.

He's going to have to pull the trigger at some point. Waiting just seems like delaying the inevitable to let his team try to read the tea leaves. Nut up buttercup and prepare to lose in the men's league for a season or two.

Thread poll idea: Are your burgers better than Evan Neal's o line play?

It'll be funny as hell if he stays in college to avoid the Bears and they end up picking first again in 2025 anyway (which isn't even incredibly unlikely considering how things have been going for that franchise.)

Huge niners fan here really nervous mainly because the media is saying the niners are going to stomp the cowboys, and that's never good.

nah man after that convincing win against the Commanders da Bears are going to da Superbowl!!!

We're even worse than against the Cowboys last week.

What I came here to say. 😟

RN the Saints have more TDs than the Patriots have first downs. That...ain't good.

Edit to add:
Pats have been outscored 82-6 during the first half this year. That's a number so mickey mouse it approaches a discussion of the national debt.

Beautiful Fall day, gonna take the dog for a walk at half time.

I can't believe I hate the Chiefs more than I ever hated the Patriots. It's not just the refs but the Mahomes dicksucking from every announcer, the Statefarm commercials played during games, and now the Kelce and Taylor Swift crap being pushed on us. All this shit coming together just makes them an infuriating team.
