That was basically his motive for the episode.or it's Enter going "the real world/school sucks. =,(".
Enter's critique of the public school system in the US is one I should be able to agree with him on, but the criticisms he has are things that are not flaws with the system and more to do with him being unwilling to do any work.
Real problems with the education system are things such as how, in the US at least, there is a severe overemphasis on constant testing that tells more about a student's ability to memorize things than it does their understanding of any given topic. This, IMO, gives a bad reading of how much a particular student is actually grasping a subject since all you see is that they memorized the things. They should be de-emphasized with more focus put on In-Class tests and assignments that the teacher creates and allow for more open ended questions and answers than just circling the answer you had drilled into your head for a week. If a kid can write a few short sentences about what led to the Civil War I know they have a better understanding of it than if I just saw them circle the correct years it took place during. If Enter did something with that, he might actually have something.
Likewise if Enter explored problems with "Zero Tolerance" policies where bullying is concerned, that often see the victims of bullying punished just because they were involved in the incident of bullying. If he covered topics like this in the episode, it could be more interesting, and more relatable to viewers who have likely dealt with such issues before. (I think Disney's Recess did an episode on the problems with overuse of testing, actually.)
But, those aren't the problems Enter has. No, instead what he presents as problems are things like April wanting good grades. Not even her parents or school faculty placing too much pressure onto her and being dissatisfied with even a B+, which would be an actual problem kids face because of how some people look at education. No, the problem is that April, of her own volition, wants good grades and wants to work hard, and studying makes her happy. Another problem is the school telling Sally to consider what kind of college she would want to go to and what she wants to be when she grows up, a very standard question to ask kids, and most kids I would think do like to imagine what they'll do when they're older. For some reason though, asking a child this is evil to Enter. Anna bullying Sally could have gone somewhere to show the issues with how schools address bullying, but he avoids this instead by having Anna not go into the school.
In an essay he wrote that can be read here, he goes into some of his issues with schooling. Including that he was taught Pluto was a planet and then Pluto was reclassified later on, therefor school is worthless because we might learn something later that makes us reconsider something. He does touch on standardized testing, but much more time is placed on how he just didn't want to do homework or classwork, didn't want to study, that he was really good at vidya games, and that he was encouraged to go to college and he didn't like that. His reasoning for not wanting to do the work was that he thought it was pointless, but then he complains that he wasn't learning anything, while actively avoiding everything that he should have been learning from. He made his education pointless by refusing to do any of the assignments that were supposed to help him understand each topic.
This is the behavior we continue to see in regards to his video production and ability to understand criticism. Taking criticism on his writing is pointless, then he complains that no one understands his poor world-building. Making videos people want to see is pointless, then he complains he's not getting the views and money he wants.
Oh, he's not pro BLM, part of the reason he closed his dA was because he unleashed a shitstorm after a huge rant about that group. While I don't know if centrist is what Enter really is when it comes to his political beliefs, i do not believe he is a hardcore righty, considering all of his mods are tumblr/twitter flavor lefties, and he shares some of the opinions they do (shoving LGBT shit on everything, even on kids stuff, pro BLM riots, spergs about racism even when it doesn't make sense), although it baffles me they haven't dumped him for the opinions he doesn't share with them (he even made Star Giant do a 180° on his opinions on masks).
