Been away from the thread for a bit but I just checked Enter's channel and wanted to say its amazing how its taking him over 2 weeks to finish a fucking top 10 list. Amazing work ethic. Even better because its about commercials that take like a minute or 2 tops to watch.

Sally’s pulling a Neji Hyuga move: realizing that if you keep living, you’re fucked (for Neji it was being forced to fuck your cousin and stay in the traditional caste system you couldn’t change and for Sally it’s being forced to regress by the world around you and the weird system it follows) and deciding to go out of your way to kill yourself as fast and as early as you can while disguising it as a noble sacrifice.

Maybe moving the mouse too fast to press play caused him to hurt his wrist? 🤔

The main character dying at the end is an actually interesting idea, I will give Enter that. But unless the show was always supposed to be dark and rather on the edge of what is acceptable for kids (which I doubt), then I think it's not tonally consistent.

He claims it’s always supposed to be dark

He claims it’s always supposed to be dark
Wait a minute...you mean to tell me that Enter justified a major change in direction by claiming it was always meant to be that way? This shocks me.
What is it with cartoon fans insisting that everything have some kind of "dark" aspect but the "dark" part is just someone dying?

It's to feign some sense of maturity so people don't look down on them. It says a lot about cartoon reviewers when there are more anime review channels that pass 1 million subscribers when there are a lot less cartoon reviewers who get those numbers.

They're all trying to defend their obsessions over children's cartoons by talking about how "mature" and "nuanced" they are. Any time a children's show doesn't delve into dark subject matter, these critics are reminded that they're too old to be watching children's shows and feel personally insulted. At the same time, if a show gets too dark or violent, it damages their fragile psyche and they immediately take the offense. "If I as an absolutely 100% mature adult with no emotional baggage whatsoever can't handle this, then how the fuck are children supposed to handle this?" And this desire for the perfect balance of "mature but not too mature" is repeatedly validated by the few shows that strive to challenge children as much as entertain them. If you like a children's show, that's fine. If you think a children's show is bad for children and should be taken down, that's also fine. But if you don't like a children's show because it wasn't tailor-made for your adult needs, you have no right to make a stink about it. None of those shows were made specifically for you.

Because the internet has lead to a belief that “dark” always equals “good” and “mature”
They can’t just enjoy a light hearted thing anymore, which is why there’s so much edge in animated movies these days, and also why the minions make a shit tin of money. They’re the only not dark and Edgy franchise atm

Well that’s less to do with the people themselves, and more to do with fan service, blood, and the fact that you get more new anime per year than new cartoons per decade. There’s also more sub niches in anime. You can dedicate yourself to just romcoms, shounen action, sports, mech, video game style RPG worlds, card game etc

I've been looking through Enter's older work, particularly an idea for a show he claimed would be his magnum opus, Alone Together. There's only one script and it's... passable. Not great but easily better than any GA script. It's basically Enter's attempt at writing a Family Guy clone, right down to having an evil genius baby character. What's most shocking is that his journals on it almost serve as a convincing pitch, going into detail about the characters, their conflicts, and what the series is really about. Of course, the idea has its own problems that have even bled into GA, such as wanting to have a serious show tackling real issues but filled with out of place comedy, but it's astounding he dropped this in favor of a show for pre-schoolers.

Idk if its worth mentioning here since the other thread is locked,
but Enter's former partner, Nayolfa, still draws bestiality/vore til this day. Just thought it was horrifying and amusing

Speaking of Nayolfa, I was a member of an old Growing Around Discord server they had a while back, which is now closed or made staff only or something. You know those memes where Enter reacts to Growing Around as an outside observer? That's basically what Nayolfa was. He was one of the very few people who worked for Enter who dared to crticize him. On the other hand, the "suggestions" he gave on how to improve the series weren't much better. It was actually his idea to make the show focus way too much on the tertiary characters while ignoring the main characters. It goes to show that just because you're good at pointing out flaws in other peoples' writing, doesn't mean you know shit about writing yourself.

"Alone Together" was written specifically for adults and doesn't revolve around a upside-down hierarchy, so that rules out my two big problems with "Growing Around." AT could have the exact same writing style as GA, and I wouldn't mind at all. As for why he stopped working on it... might have something to do with "muh depression," or he figures that pretending he's producing a 175-episode show for children instead of a 12-episode show for adults will give him more excuses to procrastinate.

Had to compile these. If I have to see it, so do you

and a more recent beastiality vore comic he's working on

and many more
He tried to brush all of this off as doing commission work but he obviously loves this content. I'm just happy he deleted the more recent vore drawings since no one wants to see it. He's the only one that post this content in the art server it's from.
Beastiality, loli and vore. This is the guy Mr. Enter wanted to make a kid's show with. I wouldn't even trust this guy around my pet.

If he wasn't such a fucking degenerate, he'd be a pretty good artist

Nothing makes my skin crawl more than having to think “the picture of the naked little girl covering her vag with a top hat is the most normal one her”
People who draw this stuff should really be forced into therapy

PieGuy is starting to become the Monarch to Butch's Dr Venture, in which he's trying to make the latter his arch-enemy while Butch almost entirely ignores him.
Yeah, but thankfully none of these cartoon youtubers Have the attention span to watch Venture Bros
