Here's how I imagine the thought process went when inventing this trainwreck of a word.

You've got this word called "summary." It's a noun. This noun can be turned into a verb: "to summarize." Now you're happily using your verb, when suddenly you have a problem: you need to turn your verb into a noun. What to do? Well, most verbs can be changed into nouns by adding the suffix "-tion" or "-ation." So this gives us "summarization!"

tl;dr: just say summary
