Yes, just like Lion King was just 'Hamlet' with lions.
And Lion King 2 was 'Romeo and Juliet' with Lions and a happy ending.
It was clearly a conscious decision.

Just saw it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Having snow in Africa and the Bye Bye song were both pretty retarded. It reminded me a lot of Simba's Pride. Does have light woke if anyone was wondering. I know shocking!
