why are we posting about a proprietary windows-only program in the linux thread
Paint.net is the program I miss the most after switching over fully to Linux. Gimp sucks.
paint.net is the only program that has ever felt like it was developed by someone that actually understands how image editing should work. it's a shame he made it proprietary over retarded reasons because every other image editor on linux is dogshit.
gimp is for turboautists and has a learning curve that's somehow ever worse than blender's
pinta is a freetard clone of paint.net that can't do anything
krita is ok but also has a leraning curve and is made more for painting that actual image editing
most of the time im using fucking kolourpaint which is a barebones windows paint clone but it just works

I'm putting this in the Linux Thread because it's been discussed here the most:

The owner of paint.net (getpaint.net) actually got the domain paint.net after fighting domain squatters for 22 years. It's latest owner started hosting content about paint.net and deceive users and with the help of a lawyer (for trademark infringement/domain squatting), he got the domain:

You can now visit paint.net and it serves as a redirect:

Pretty awesome update.
Good for him. Paint.NET is one of those proprietary applications I can't bring myself to hate for not conforming to my freetarded whims, it's like seeing good ol' WinRAR.

holy crap on a cracker what the fuck is this shit?

Love Paint.Net for making my campaign progress maps on Europa Universalis.

I recently switched because I had came across an extra drive I didn't know what to do with, I was having some issues getting stupid customization ideas created myself, I wanted to be able to make the screen shake for something, and concluded that Wayland was the reason I was having difficulties, today I was looking up videos explaining which was better, Wayland or X11 and found this gem of a guy. Personally I'm on X11 now, but I'm sure this guys opinion must be right (whatever the opinion was, Im not sure what he said)
