Don't know what to think about Rackets vs Bossman, especially since neither faced really significant consequences after their respective arrests. I'm holding out hope that something more serious happens to either of them. Happy to see Poofolf getting recognition but the debt fiasco has the same problem - no significant consequences thus far. Having fellow shiteating furfags "disavowing" and "expressing concern" how "she" is a "horrible girl" is not enough.

I cannot allow my Monostar bias overcome my objective opinion. Kris is definitely the biggest lolcow this year. Nick is a close second but Kris... I mean Jesus the amount of bombshells dropped in the past few days has been fucking exceptional to say the least.

I have been in SFO's thread very often now and I think he and Destiny should win Grift Wars together as shitlib butt buddies.
 
Nominating Peppermint Swirl for best animal control cow, and RSDS for best fresh meat. RSDS has already created multiple spin-off threads in the few months of it's existence.
 
I wish the subform voting could just be for each subform. Like, putting the "Beauty parlor" and "animal control" votes just in their subform as a thread with poll. Subforums tend to get the most famous cow rather than the regular's favorites, and it feels a little unfair.

Here's some of my ideas for lolcow fanarts/fanworks for 2024:
  • All the fantastic lolcow related Suno.ai tracks that have been made this year.
  • All the @Monostar Leatherknuckles fan art, ranging from our songs, shitposts, and Chris Chan style pages.
  • Pokemon Rat Edition from the Bossmanjack Thread.
I don't think the best lolcow fanarts from last year were actually done. I believe my Dr. Spunk comic got nominated, but unless I get around to finishing it this year, it probably wouldn't count.

He was featured, so maybe this is extremely redundant, but I'm mentioning anyway.

Also think an eye should be kept on the MR beast situation, his thread is still in PG, but the thread on chris ava is being practically used as a mr beast thread anyway, and theres a ton to go over. Don't feel I can nominate him for anything just yet (especially with a PG thread), but that could change in a month
 
I would like to nominate Keffals once again, for the Stinkditch, after the Mutahar video dropped and even more hilarious info dropped.

I would also like to nominate Chris Tyson for Lolcow of the Year, with Mr. Beast being considered for best up and comer.

Tomlinson absolutely should have won Lolcow of the Year last year with all his brinksmanship around paying Quasi. Rekieta's idiocy was just a prelude to his absolute implosion this year. I would say, "in retrospect," but many people were saying as much at the time; 2023 was Rekieta's year of sowing and 2024 his year of reaping. Unfortunately Patty hasn't really done anything as substantial this year to warrant an award. We may need a lifetime achievement award for such cases.

I'm on the fence about suggesting a "last year's winner automatically excluded from nomination" rule to keep things from getting too focused one particular cow. Otherwise it's hard not to want to vote for Rekieta considering how much worse his 2024 has been than his winning performance last year. Bossman's preternatural ability to constantly reset himself like a sitcom character makes it a tough for him to fail as hard as Rekieta has.
