I'm fairly tech illiterate, but I remember Josh talking about how CSAM pictures can be "hashed" or geometrically analysed so web servers can instantly flag media as CSAM, without having the originals, just a list of code.
Could the same be done with a human face? Could you force AI companies to deny use of underage faces, or even have an "opt out" list of Hashed Faces which will never be used?

Simplest thing that can be done is having a primitive facial recognition module that just tells if a face "looks underage" and if it's true, denies its upload and use. Sorry for baby-faced idiots, but it's the simplest solution that can't be circunvented without visibly ruining the picture and that somewhat respects people's privacy.

I'm pretty sure that every AI online image generation service also filters prompts with words like "young" or "teen" alongside shit like "suggestive," "naked" or "NSFW" by default without ever sending the request to the AI. Just simple regex operations. What I propose would be an extension to that, but for pictures. Or just make NSFW generation forbidden by default, IDC.

Hash checks can be bypassed with imperceptible edits, and of course, forcing AI companies to NOT use your data only works in a sane world, which this ain't.

I think we should just pay Indians to get sterilised, like $20k, end their use of industrial technology and seal their border.
