Yes I am Sri Lankan. I hate Indian culture and all South Asian cultures in general, that includes Sri Lanka. My hate extends to the majority of my people. I don't really try to separate myself from Indians in that regard because I'm the same as them in terms of appearance and it would be cowardly to pretend that 'I'm one of the good ones'. I could probably write a book about my experiences and observations on Indian culture and the behaviour of groups and individuals from the subcontinent. Just the other day I was on the bus trying to read a book and there was a Sikh man playing his horrible music out loud. When it comes to how I experience fellow jeets day to day, that's probably on the tamer end of negative encounters.
I've always seen American culture as the pinnacle of western civilisation, partly because the upbringing of an American child involves pursuing excellence and striving for honesty and respect. I always thought it was cool how American schools encouraged sports too. Btw, even high caste Indians suck at sports.
