Modern day "Germany" (AKA West Germany squatting on the GDR's territory!) is a fallen mockery of Germany that can't even afford to maintain what pissant "military" it still has while being economically doomed. Your other point still stands though:

In functionally the same amount of time, the People's Republic of China went from being a bombed out shithole that barely survived two wars with Japan, a massive civil war, and with the vast majority of the country still in the 19th Century, to...well I wouldn't call them quite a "superpower", but they are absolutely the biggest regional power of Southeast Asia. At the least, the PRC can keep foreign influence outside of its own borders and the CCP still clearly has the Mandate of Heaven.

Meanwhile jeetistan is functionally post-Apocalyptic/pre-agrarian. Modi's government is poorly mimicking the jingoistic policies of the Third Reich...except the Third Reich had complete control over a nation that was once a world-spanning empire, and they still had a unified national identity with a strong industrial, scientific, and economic base. Modi's government, meanwhile, "controls" jeetistan on paper but in reality their control basically doesn't exist outside of Delhi and the major cities.

What actual power does jeetistan have? They're reliant on what amounts to slave labor and they import the majority of their energy. Their "military" is a joke with zero power projection, and it's most likely that the jeetistan "military" couldn't even quell a period of serious unrest or rebellion inside their own borders. Jeetistani "culture" is considered universally repulsive to foreigners.
The only "power" jeetistan has is expelling their excess biomass to other nations that are NOT authoritarian states and hoping they can displace enough of the native population to subvert their democratic processes. Even this is doomed to fail in the long run.
Modi's government has done NOTHING for the average jeet except gassed them up with bullshit ethno-nationalist propaganda and the lottery-tier hope they'll be able to be slave labor in a less destitute country. Under Modi, jeetistan is still broke and backwards. His government is living on borrowed time, relying solely on stoking hindu "nationalism" to keep the jeet hordes distracted enough so they won't decide to choose someone else to be King of the Jeets.

after the war korea was a complete wasteland, half the country taken away by turbo commies, the other half an economically backward territory with no noteworthy resources or industry. post war south korea was an agrarian poverty hole with a gdp comparable to african states, lower than fucking egypt lol
fast forward 40 years and the (south) koreans had built themselves up into a global industrial and technological powerhouse
meanwhile jeetland... well we all know the sorry state of affairs in that place

Beastmen are still strong, fearsome, and brave because they charge headlong at the enemy. I also feel they are too simple and animal like to really capture jeet's "cunning" or form relationships with other races.

Goblins are a much better fit for them. Small, weak, cowardly creatures that would only fight when they have superior numbers and know they will win. Their relations with others also mirror jeets. If you are strong goblins are the ultimate brown noser to you which is why they are subservient to several species (Orks, Ogres, Chaos Dwarfs) and will gladly betray either their masters or their own kind of it means power for themselves. They also have their own untouchable class with the snotlings. Finally the way greenskins bizarre approach to engineering where if you think it works, it works perfectly represents the absolute insanity and loonytoons logic in regards of their constructions or their scam schemes where both are just wishful thinking that sometimes pays off.

It's really funny how the content section is only one paragraph that provides the barest overview of the book, while 90% of the article is taken up by an Indian seething over and over about 'SAAR THIS BOOK WRONG BLOODY BENCHOD LOOK AT ALL THE BOOKS TELLING YOU YOU'RE WRONG'.

I feel like it is such a problem that I shouldn't have to handle this manually anymore. I get tired of clicking back or closing tabs when I see the author is Randeep Patel.

Flip it around to the other side of the civil war, you have Taiwan a tiny island with little natural resources that was colonized by several parties (China, Dutch, Japan) before receiving a massive influx of KMT refugees, being put under an authoritarian goverment by them and being stuck in a complicated geopolitical situation that makes it hard to form offical diplomatic relationships. By all means they should be one of the poorest countries in the world, but the people weren't total retards and we're able to build up a very impressive tech industry, establish trade agreements to take full advantage of that tech industry, and transition to a democratic system where everyone is very... passionate about it but aren't murdering each other over it. As a result this tiny island has around 1/4th the total GDP India does and has a per capita GDP about 10x higher than India. It's the people. Literally any other group could have became a regional power that overshadows China with the advantages that subcontinent brings, but unfortunately (or luckily) Indians are unable to do that.
